Test Pattern: A) There will be no bad checking for wrong response. B) The prospectus of the assessments will be similar to fundamental capability expected for the post. C) The mechanism for assessment will be Hindi and English.

1. Test common to all post-codes : Quantitative ability/ aptitude, General intelligence & Reasoning ability, General awareness, English language (basic knowledge), General science

@Screening Criteria: Tier-I test is for screening. The base passing imprints for Tier-I is 40% for UR/OBC competitor and 35% for SC/ST up-and-comers. Competitors will be temporarily shortlisted in view of Tier-I assessment merit in a proportion of 1:8 (No. of opening: No. of shortlisted competitors) gave they secure the base passing imprints in assessment. Nonetheless, this proportion might increment or lessening relying on the hierarchical prerequisites. The last applicant getting equivalent imprints in the section will likewise be incorporated. These temporarily shortlisted up-and-comers will be called for Tier-II assessment.

1. Segment A: Quantitative capacity/fitness, General insight and ability to reason, General mindfulness, English language (essential information) AND Section-B: Specific to exchange/discipline of post-code
2. Well defined for exchange/discipline of post-code (Trade test will be of ITI level in the connected exchange to test the commonsense abilities of the applicants)

The Trade test may be of about one to two hours duration.
